Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
ComebackPath is an ACL recovery companion app designed to support education, reminders, tracking and general rehab organisation.
ComebackPath is provided by ComebackPath Ltd, trading as ComebackPath.
For the purposes of this policy, ComebackPath Ltd is the relevant company and data controller.

2. What data the app stores
In V1, ComebackPath stores your recovery information locally on your device. This may include:
- Your onboarding answers
- Your surgery date
- Your graft, LET and meniscus selections
- Your recovery goal
- Your daily check-ins, including pain, swelling, stiffness and confidence
- Your session completion history
- Your weekly progress
- Your disclaimer acknowledgement
This information can be sensitive because it relates to your health and recovery. You should only enter information you are comfortable storing on your device.
3. No account required
ComebackPath V1 does not require an account. You do not need to create a login or provide your name, email address or password to use the core app.
4. Local-first storage
ComebackPath V1 is local-first. Your app data is stored on your device using local storage.
In V1:
- We do not upload your recovery data to a ComebackPath server.
- We do not use a backend for user recovery data.
- We do not provide cloud sync.
- We do not use accounts.
- We do not use an AI coach.
If you delete the app, reset local data or clear app storage, your saved data may be lost.
5. No sale of personal data
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Third-party analytics
ComebackPath V1 does not use third-party analytics unless this is added to the app in the future and reflected in this policy.
If analytics are added later, this policy should be updated before release.
7. Payments and subscriptions
If paid plans are added, payment processing may be handled by the App Store or another payment provider. ComebackPath would not receive your full payment card details from Apple.
This section should be updated before any paid plan is launched.
8. Resetting your local data
You can reset your local data inside the app using the reset option. This clears the locally stored profile, check-ins, session completion and progress data from the app on that device.
Resetting local data cannot recover deleted information.
9. Device backups
Your device operating system may back up app data depending on your settings. ComebackPath does not control Apple, Google or device-level backup settings.
10. Children
ComebackPath is not designed for children. If you are under the age required to use health and fitness apps in your country, you should only use ComebackPath with appropriate adult support.
11. Medical information
ComebackPath does not provide diagnosis, treatment, medical clearance or emergency support. You should follow the advice of your physio, surgeon, doctor or clinician.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy as the app changes. If V1 features change, this policy should be reviewed and updated before release.
